Gavin Peter Noble and Dominic Dennis Phillips appeared for drug possession. The case has been postponed to 29 February for reasons unknown. The accused has a judicial review pending in the High Court. They are out on warning.
Immanuel Markus Mekondjo (32) was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His case has been postponed to 26 January as there was no interpreter available. He is on bail of N$4 000.
Nestor Katangolo (34) appeared for dealing in cocaine. His case has been postponed to 14 March for lab results (final remand). He is on N$5 000 bail. Katangolo was also charged in terms of the Prevention for Organised Crime Act (POCA). The matter has been postponed to 15 February for further investigation. He is on bail of N$5 000.
Natangwa Johannes Silvester (26) was charged with rape. His case has been postponed to 14 March for further investigation (final remand). He is on N$2 000 bail and not allowed near the victim.
Pieter Bees and Joseph Gariseb (36) had their assault to do grievous bodily harm case withdrawn.
Shintango Ndinga (48) appeared for the negligent discharge of a firearm. His case has been postponed to 23 February for legal aid. His bail of N$500 was reinstated.
Steven Fredericks (25) was accused of rape. His case was postponed to 5 March for further investigation (final remand). He is on N$2 000 bail.
Isak Shaduka (23) and Naftali Gideon (21) were found guilty of possession of stolen property. They were sentenced to pay N$300 fine or face 30 days imprisonment.
Abner Dausab (25), Ludwig Gurirab (21) and Bradley Hanob (25) appeared for attempted murder (assault). Their case has been postponed to 15 March for trial. He received N$1 000 bail. They were ordered to remain in custody.
Elipha Mangwana (29), Esnath Mafuka (29) Takunda Muringani (26) appeared for entering Namibia at any place other than a port of entry. Their case has been postponed to 27 January as an interpreter was not available. They were ordered to remain in custody.
Craig Harker (33) was charged with malicious damage to property. His case was postponed to 7 February for reasons unknown. He was ordered to remain in custody.
Elton Snyders (28) was charged with rape. His case has been postponed to 26 March for legal aid. He is out on N$1 500 bail.
Renshaw Valentine (29) was found guilty of assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm. Valentine was sentenced to six months imprisonment. Co-accused Allen Brandt and Jerome Vos were found not guilty and discharged.
Annelise Garases (24) appeared for pointing a firearm. The case has been postponed to 20 February for further investigation (final remand). She is on N$2 000 bail.
A minor (17) who was charged with drug possession had his case withdrawn.
Filemon Niiye (44) appeared for firing a gun. His case has been postponed to 27 January for trial (final remand). He is on N$1 000 bail.
Dalyn Jacobs (22) had his assault to do grievous bodily harm case withdrawn as the complainant was no longer interested in pursuing the matter.
Helena Christina Smith (46) appeared for remaining in Namibia after the expiration of her visitor's entry permit and a second count of making a false representation. The matter has been postponed to 9 February as the trial was partially heard for submissions. She is on N$500 bail.
Davis Iyambo Katuta was found not guilty for housebreaking with the intent to steal and theft. He was however found guilty for possession of stolen property (receiving stolen property). He was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment.
Shintango Ndinga (48) appeared for the negligent discharge or placement of a firearm. A warrant for his arrest has been issued as he remained at large.
Christo Jantjies (30) was charged with assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm. His case has been postponed 12 April for trial. He is on N$500 bail.
Bonifatius Mongaboti (29) was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His cased has been postponed to 12 April for plea and trial. He is on N$4 000 bail.
Hamunyela Theodor (30) for driving under the influence of alcohol. His case has been postponed to 17 April for plea and trial. He is out on N$4 000 bail.
Elipha Mangwena (29) had her illegal entry into Namibia case struck from the court roll while her co-accused Esnath Mafuka also had her case struck from the roll (29), Oscar Kachere (26) was found guilty with evidence and ordered to remain in custody, Takunda Muringani (26) had his case struck from the roll and Murefu Knox (26) was found guilty with evidence.
Rudy Booysen (20) was found guilty of drug possession. He was sentenced to pay N$300 fine.
Erastus Ashipala (28) was found guilty of theft. He was sentenced to 30 days imprisonment.
