| Novanam Monthly Medal: A field of forty four fired into action for the first Monthly Medal of 2010. As we know this is Golf at its best and that only the fittest survive! Do you have what it takes? Can you repeat the same swing over and over again, shot after shot and hole after hole, because that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is what wins competitions. It is often said that winning is not everything, it's the only thing, and although a lot of us play to relax, let me tell you that Medal is anything but! If you are not playing against your oldest foes then you are most certainly playing against yourself, because we have to improve, even if it's by a shot. On Wednesday we had our yearly AGM and Gerhard van der Merwe was voted in as chairmain.Captaincy is now in the hands of Achmet Abrahams and we all look forward to the challenges that lie ahead. This Saturday is a Club sponsored competition as most of our golfers will be in Windhoek taking part in the Gold Cup |
