Swakopmund resident, Josef Angolo committed suicide on Sunday morning in his shack. According to the police reports, the 35- year -old Angolo used an electrical wire which he tied to the roof of his shack and around his neck to commit suicide. No suicide note was left and the police suspect no foul play. His next of kin was also informed.
This is the third suicide in a matter of two weeks. Last weekend the 32-year-old Vincent Ngauzu committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest following his involvement in an accident about 40 kilometres outside Walvis Bay.
Last Sunday a woman also committed sui-cide by hanging herself with a scarf at the Kuisebmond cemetery. Her body was found by residents that were on their way to church. |
