13-year-old leads Blue Waters to victory

The 13-year-old Junior, Tanyanda led Blue Waters 2 to a twelve-run victory over Sparta 1 at the Sparta field in the Coastal 40 over cricket league on Sunday, 16 January.
Sparta opted to bat after winning the toss. Tanyanda took three wickets as Sparta was dismissed for 131 runs.
Tanyanda dismissed Morne Van Bosch for 16 and Nado Pasquallie for a Golden Duck (0), and when Reazaar Abrahams also for 0. Tanyanda took 3/26 off eight overs.
Young Blue Waters All Rounder Romano Paulus also took 3/14 off eight overs as he dismissed Jaco Marais for 6 and Marnus Van Niekerk for 16 and when also for 1.
In the other Coastal 40 over match played in Swakopmund, Pro-Ed Old Boys 1 beat Pro-Ed Old Boys by 8 wickets. PEOBCC 2 was all out for 98 after 29.4 overs. PEOBCC 1 reaches the target in just 15.4 overs.
In the Premier League 50 Overs match played.
CCD from Windhoek beat host MR24/7 Welwitschia with 111 run at the Walvis Bay Private High School field at the port city.
MR24/7 Welwitschia won the toss and elected to bowl. CCD scoring 170 all out, but an abject display by the home teams bats-men saw them collapsing to 59 all out.

Saturday 22 January PEOBCC 2 will host Sparta 2 in Swakopund
Sunday 23 January Sparta 1 host PEOBCC 1 at the Sparta field and Blue Waters 1 host PEOBCC 2 at the oval in Walvis Bay.
