The Ministry of Health and Social Services received two re-purposed mobile Covid-19 isolation units from Sanlam Namibia that will now be used as a facility to screen patients for Covid-19. Sanlam Namibia to date committed more than N$3 million in the fight against Covid-19. This latest donation of the mobile units pushes the boundaries further for Namibia to overcome the Coronavirus pandemic.

The mobile units were originally purposed as Covid-19 mobile isolation units (with a total of 8 beds with two bathrooms), but re-purposed as a screening facility at a total cost of N$278 000.
The units were placed at the Walvis Bay state hospital.
Sanlam Namibia’s Agency Manager: Entry Level Market, Mrs Alix Husselmann, expressed her pride to be associated with Sanlam Namibia and the commitment the Company made so far in addressing the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
