2 busted for drugs after raid at Swakopmund house

The police arrested two suspects on Sunday evening who were in the possession of drugs with a combined value of N$5150. According to Detective Chief Inspector Jatikua Tjiramba, Acting Regional Crime Investigations Co-ordinator for Erongo, the suspects were arrested in OB Street No 266 in the Swakopmund suburb Mondesa.

The one suspect was found in the possession of twelve units crack cocaine with a value of N$1 200 as well as four and a half Mandrax tablets valued at N$450. The other suspect was found in the possession of seven blocks of crack cocaine valued at N$3 500.
At the time of going to press the suspects were due to make a first court appearance.
