New record set at archery competition

On 23rd July, Berg-Op Academy hosted a NASP Archery competition and had 69 participants from 9 different schools/ organisations.

The school/organisations that took part were: Berg-Op Academy, Community Hope School, Windhoek Gymnasium, St. Paul’s , Elnatan, Walvis Bay Private High School, Carpe Diem Homeschool, St. George’s and SKW Archery. Rassie van Zyl from Windhoek Gymnasium broke the Namibian NASP highest score record.
He shot an amazing 293 out of a possible 300 points. We would also like to give a big thank you to Agra who sponsored prizes for the top female archer, Dominique Bekker, top male archer, Rassie van Zyl, as well as a prize for the new Namibian NASP Highest score holder. The other prizes that were given: Senior Male Category, Gold – Rassie van Zyl, Silver – Lukas Els, Bronze – Marko Kersten. Senior Female Category, Gold – Dominique Bekker, Silver – Melany Erasmus, Bronze – Nadine Loots. Junior Male Category, Gold – Hennie Nel, Silver – Pieter Hough, Bronze – MC de Jager. Junior Female Category, Gold – Alana Adonis, Silver – Angela Martins, Bronze – Erica Nande.
