67 Year old woman held at gunpoint at Wildlife Estate

A 67-year-old woman was held at gunpoint outside her residence at a wildlife estate about 3 km outside Omaruru on the road towards Uis.

According to the Spokesperson of the Namibian Police in the Erongo Region, Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu, three men overpowered the old lady outside her residence and forced her into her house late Sunday afternoon, 19 August.
The three men allegedly demanded money and fled with N$3000 cash, an iPhone, a Samsung cell phone, jewellery, and pair of binoculars.
The total value of items stolen amount to N$200 000. Nothing has been recovered yet and no arrests have been made.
