A taste of Christmas for the elderly

On Saturday, the Desert Mustang Motorcycle Club hosted a Christmas lunch at the Altstadt Restaurant for 48 members of the Welwitschia Old age home as part of their contribution to various charities and communities.

The senior citizens were collected at their homes and transported to Altstadt Restaurant, where a tasty lunch and refreshments were served to the guests. With the support from Club Members, Altstadt Restaurant, Mega Save Swakopmund, Tracks & Trails, Welwitschia Shuttle, Sinclair Services, Spar Windhoek, Design Worx and Chantel Burger, donations from various companies and private persons, enabled the club to also present the guests with a parcel with a few items to help alleviate some of the daily burdens. The beautiful garden setting, excellent service and good food, ensured that it was an enjoyable day for the senior citizens.

The Desert Mustangs would like to thank all that made it possible to give the Welwitschia Old Age Home (Phase 2) a small taste of Christmas.
