Accident on the C 28 gravel road

Two South African men are recovering in the Cottage Hospital in Swakopmund after the driver lost control of the vehicle they were traveling in and it overturned.

It is alleged that on Wednesday 27 February Edmund John Hendricks (64) and Chellan Daniel (58) were traveling on the C 28 gravel road from Windhoek to Swakopmund when the accident happened approximately 73 km from Swakopmund. This was around 14:25. The two men were taken to the Cottage Private Hospital. Mr Hendricks sustained only slight injuries while Mr Daniel is recovering from serious head injuries. He is in a stable condition.
