Accidents over the weekend

An SUV vehicle carrying 2 people veered off the road and over-turned on the MR44 route (road behind the dunes) early Saturday morning. It seems as the wet road conditions at the time of the incident contributed to the driver losing control. Fortunately, both occupants sustained less serious and minor injuries.

Another incident reported on Saturday, a fully laden truck overturned and ended up on its side after the driver lost control on a bend on the MR44 route. Both the driver and the assistant sustained minor injuries and was evaluated by E-Med Rescue 24 at the scene. A crane was needed to assist in the lifting of the truck back on it’s wheels.
