Annual Touch Rugby Festival

The Annual Touch Rugby Festival is upon us, this year for the 2020 instalment of this hugely popular event. The event will be on 19 December 2020 at the Sparta United Recreation Sport Club in Walvis Bay.

The organisers has moved the annual Henties touchies to Walvis Bay due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Applications for teams wanting to participate will close 25 Novem-ber and teams are advised to book early to avoid disappointment as players and spectators alike can expect more than just a Touch Rugy Tournament with entertainment and laughs provided.
According to the organisers the sport club is still facing some hard-ships and all their committees are working tirelessly to try and overcome the hardships of the covid-19 pandemic but felt that this year’s touchies should be held.
The club will also host a Cricket 7-a-side day, more info will be made known in due course.
The club invite the public to join them on these fun days that will be held at the club.
