Armed group faces charges of Murder, Robbery and Attempted Robbery

A group of five men armed with knives, faces charges of Murder, Robbery and Attempted Robbery after they robbed and stabbed 29-year-old police constable, Asser Dominicus while he walked his girlfriend home from a friend’s house on Saturday, 5 June 2021 at Kuisebmond.

After the suspects robbed the couple, it is alleged one of the suspects turned back and stabbed Asser twice, once in the back and once in the abdomen, before they ran away. Asser passed away not too long after. Two of the five suspects, a 21-year-old and a 25-year-old suspect, have been caught and made their first appearance in the Walvis Bay Magistrates Court.
