At the drags

The weather played along and the drags turned out to be a fun-filled day for all visitors and all the racers. There were approximately 57 entries.

Allan Martin recorded the fastest time with his – Nissan Skyline GTR with a time of 11:66. For the bike division Ernst Visser with his Suzuki 1000CC-   10.09. One of the favourites of the crowd the two Audies who raced against each other.

The white Toyota Corolla, “Speedy Consales”, as many described him, was also one of the vehicles that moved like thunder.   The Gti golf 5 “monster” also had the crowd screaming whenever it raced.
