B2 claims another life

A case of culpable homicide has been opened after an accident claimed the life of a 68-year-old woman.
The incident took place about 25km before Arandis on Sunday, when the driver of a green VW Caddy pick-up lost control of the vehicle after a tyre blowout.
The vehicle left the road and overturned.
Auguste Hoebes (68) died at the scene, whilst the other occupants sustained minor injuries and were treated at Swakopmund State Hospital.
