Big night for Kickboxers
Tonight will be one of the biggest nights for two kickboxers from the Namibia RCFAI & Kickboxing Academy in Walvis Bay. The two kickboxers are Lesley !Hoaeb who is nominated for Sportsman of the year and Delano Müller for Junior Sports Man of the year. All this will be at the Namibia Sports Commission (NSC) sports awards tonight at the Windhoek Country Club and Resorts.
Both these athletes are kickboxing champions from the Namibia RCFAI & Kickboxing Academy in Walvis Bay. They became world champions in June this year at the Battle of Atlanta World Championships in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Their achievements are as follows:
On the 16 & 17 June 2017 Lesley !Hoaeb defeated the German Taekwondo champion, Johannes Gottwald at the Battle of Atlanta World Championships to be the World Champion. On 4 March 2017 he got 3x 1st Places at the Jungle War in Johannesburg, South Africa. He also recently became the Sub-Saharan champion in his age group.
Delano Müller achieved 4th grade white belt – Graded by Master Sylvio Behring President of Brazilian Confederation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (highest junior belt in Namibia) Junior Sportsman of the year 2016. Top 3 nominees at RASA, Johannesburg, South Africa Highest rank in Kickboxing (Junior Black Belt) in Namibia. Legacy Boxing Title, 1st Place 4 March 2017 Johannesburg, South Africa, Jungle War, 2 x 1st Places and 16 & 17 June 2017. In Atlanta, Georgia USA he become a World Champion at the Battle of Atlanta World Championships. He also recently became the Sub-Saharan champion in his age group.
