Blue Bulls VS WP Golf Day

On 20 October, the Walvis Bay Pro Shop & Driving Range again sponsored the very popular Blue Bulls vs WP golf day.

Despite quite a few players being away for the Dulux Finals at Omeya, a good field of 35 players still came to enjoy a beautiful day and a fun format. Betterball match-play was played to determine the winners between Blue Bulls and WP, as well as a big pool game. Thanks to a tense pool game, which was won by WP, they took the day’s honours by 10.5 points to 9.5 points. Well done to the WP supporters/golfers! At Nuweland they also managed to scrape a close win!
There were some great individual performances on the day. Prizes were awarded for best Individual stable-ford and the winners were:
1. Koot Potgieter – 43 points (winner on the count out)
2. Mario Polster – 43 points
3. Nardo Sardinha – 43 points
4. K. De Reuck – 42 points
Best Dressed Player – Pieter Heunis (great to have him around, supporting his favourite WP team!)
On Saturday 27 October the second last PISCES Medal will be played.
