Body of half-naked woman discovered at Vierkantklip

Manhunt on for her killer/s

The Namibian Police remains selective in releasing information regarding the murder of Swakopmund resident Jenneth Daniels (26). The main reason for that is to protect strategic information that could lead to the arrest of the woman’s murderer or murderers.

Daniels’ half naked body was spotted by passers-by at Vierkantklip near Swakopmund on Wednesday morning. The deceased’s pair of trousers and underwear were removed and was found close by.

The body was discovered on the ocean side, approximately 100 metres from the B2 coastal road. All indications are the body was dumped at the scene and that the actual murder was carried out elsewhere.
Although Vierkantklip is situated one kilometer from Swakopmund, the area falls under the jurisdiction of Walvis Bay. Hence, the Namibian Police at Walvis Bay is tasked with the murder investigation.
A senior police official urged the public yesterday to come forward with information that could shed more light on the late Daniels’ whereabout in the last hours of her life, people in whose company she was and also any noteworthy incidents in recent days and weeks which could be linked to her death.
Any information can be shared with Deputy Commissioner Erastus Ikuuyu at 081 246 4757 or Detective Warrant Office John Geiseb at 081 262 9842.
