Body of newborn found in waste bin

The body of a newborn baby was discovered in a waste skip in Walvis Bay’s Kuisebmond suburb on Monday morning. A member of the public made the grim discovery in Nathanië Maxuilili Street.
Members of the Namibian Police removed the body from the skip. People who witnessed this were enraged and questioned how a mother could be so cruel to dump her newborn. A woman was seen crying as the Police carried the tiny body, wrapped in cloth.
An investigation has since been launched to find the mother.
