Brave warriors out of the COSAFA Cup

The Namibian Brave Warriors bowed out of the COSAFA Cup, after losing 0 – 1 to Mozambique in the final Group B game.

The Brave Warriors held their ground well, until the ninth minute before the final whistle, Mozambique’s Melque Melito scored a goal, ending the game with a 1-0 victory.
In the other Group B game, Senegal beat Malawi 2-1 to book their place in the semi-final.
This now leaves Mozambique and Senegal to will play against Group A winner and runner up, Bafana Bafana and Eswatini respectively.
Although the Brave Warriors and Mozambique bagged the same amount of points in Group B, Mozambique went through on account of a better head-to-head record.
Bafana Bafana draw against champion Zambia in their final Group A game to go through as group winner to the semi-finals, whilst Eswatini drew against Botswana.
