Burglary at Arandis

A case of Housebreaking with intent to steal and theft was opened after two suspects were arrested. They broke into Stone Africa Range workshop in Arandis and stole items to the value of N$ 94 996.54.

It is alleged that, be-tween Saturday, 15 June at around 11:30 and Monday, 17 June at around 07:30, the suspects broke the padlock and gained entrance of the workshop and stole the following items: Ten Bosh Batteries, one welder inverter, one dwelling and cutting tool, one cylinder, one Big Gedore toolbox driver, one tool kit Midas, one Angle grinder Bosh blue, one impact drill, one booster cable set, one socket set, one pump compressor dual, one ganset petrol Recoil Rato, one Gedore tool box, one washer high pressure, one water pump.
Most of the stolen items were recovered and two suspects, Ndumba Ma-tumi (25), an employee of Stone Africa and Benjamin Olavi (28) a Taxi driver were arrested.
The third suspect is still on the run. The taxi that was used in the crime was impounded.
The suspects appeared at the Swakopmund Magistrates Court yesterday.
