The highlight however, took place on 14th July when they hosted a Gala Event for the ladies, the-med “Be a Superhero for Cancer”. This event was attracted by local artist Priscilla – Queen of the Desert, whom had the ladies up on their feet with her entertainment and the performances of the Zumba Dancers of School of Dance and the Evolve Fire & Entertainment. The Committee would like to thank all the loyal supporters and sponsors towards making this event such a huge success. A total amount of N$61 556.00 was raised and handed over to the Cancer Association of Namibia.
