Capricorn Eagles in semi-final

The Capricorn Eagles, Namibia’s national women’s cricket team took a resounding lead in the Kwibuka Women’s T20 Tournament in Kigali Rwanda.

The women’s cricket team continued their unbeaten campaign to advance to the semi-finals at the top of the standings.
In their last game of the round robin games the Capricorn Eagles scored 110 for 6 to set a target of 111 runs. The Namibia women bowled the Kenyans all out for 74 runs in just 14.2 over to beat the Kenya women with 36 runs.
Capricorn Eagles won their first game in the Kwibuka T20 cricket tournament against Nigeria by 8 wickets. They beat Rwanda by 43 runs in their second game and in their third game they trashed Botswana with 65 runs.
Wilka Mwatile was awarded the player of the match award against Rwanda and Victoria Hamunyela walks away as player of the match against Kenya and Nigeria with Sune Wittmann player of the match against Botswana.
Yesterday the women’s Eagles had a well-deserved day off before the final today 11 June.
