Robbers flee scene with N$60k robbed from security company

A group of armed robbers carried out a cash-in-transit robbery in Kuisebmond yesterday morning, getting away with approximately N$60 000.

A security company arrived at the cash office of Erongo RED in Kuisebmond shortly after day open yesterday morning. The company was transporting cash that had to be delivered to Erongo RED’s customer care office in Nathaniel Maxuilili Avenue. Armed men approached the security vehicle and forced guards to hand over the money.
