We are expecting a high level of performance from all participating teams this weekend,” said NVF’s President, Hillary Dux Imbuwa. The opening game the men’s quarter final will be between the champions of the Central Volleyball Association (CVA), NamPower VC, who will take on the champions from the Zambezi Volleyball Association, Katima Mulilo UNAM VC. The Far Northern Champions, Six Stars VC, will take on UNAM Main Campus VC, with the Erongo Nampol VC facing Eleven Warriors VC, while Khomas Nampol VC will play against the Vipers VC from the Kavango Volleyball Associations.
In the Female Category semi-final, CVA Champions, NDF VC, will take on Oshikoto NamPol while the Far Northern Champions, Oshana NamPol VC, will take on Revivals VC. This will be the battle between the top two teams from the Central Volleyball Association and the Far Northern Volleyball Association.
“We would like to once again thank our official partner, Bank Windhoek, for your loyal and continued support. To the nation at large, we encourage you to come and enjoy the best of Namibia Volleyball with us,” said Imbuwa.
Both winners in each category will walk away with a cash price of N$10 000, gold medals plus a floating trophy. The runner up will walk away with N$8 000 and silver medals, while the third price will win N$6 000 and bronze medals.
