CNNC Rössing new MD

An individual with extensive experience in Namibia’s mining industry, Mr. Johan Coetzee, has been appointed the managing director of CNNC Rössing Uranium. Coetzee has been appointed in the place of Mr Richard Storrie who took up another position in the Rio Tinto Group.

Coetzee has an exemplary reputation as leader and prior to his appointment at CNNC Rössing assumed leadership positions at Skorpion Zinc at Rosh Pina and Ghana Manganese Company and is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Desert Lion Energy. Coetzee has prior worked for Rössing as an operations manager. He served as the managing director of QKR Navachab Mine. Coetzee will start in his new position at CNNC Rössing on 14 October.
