Cocaine case postponed

A statement awaited from a Brazilian court and a cell phone that is currently analyzed by experts in Israel are the only two pieces missing from the puzzle before Grant Noble and Dinath Azhar will go on trial for cocaine smuggling.

The duo were nabbed last year after 412 kg of cocaine were found in a container shipped from Brazil to Walvis Bay, via Cape Town.
The authorities in Walvis Bay kept the container under surveillance in the port of Walvis Bay after it was discharged from the container vessel Amanda D Noble and Azhar allegedly tried to clear the container through customs and they were then arrested.
On Thursday they duo heard the case against them was postponed to 31 October awaiting the report from Brazil as well as what evidence the Israeli technical team can retrieve from the cell phone. They remain in custody.
