Construction of marina starts off yacht club

The final preparations are now made to commence with the construction of a yacht marina and a breakwater to protect it. The location is southwest of the container terminal on reclaimed land in the port of Walvis Bay off the Walvis Bay yacht club. The small rocky and gravel outcrop is already visible which will be come the breakwater or seawall which will protect the marine from adverse sea conditions. The marine itself (some structure already visible in the water) will provide for wharf space as well as services which include water and electricity.
