Containers took a plunge

Two containers fell of a cargo ship in the port of Walvis Bay on Saturday, prompting the services of Walvis Bay Diving and Salvage to retrieve it from the water. Both containers were empty and during a loading process onto the MSC Gabriella toppled and fell into the sea.
The containers drifted to a position between the ship and the quay wall. Divers had to attach lifting equipment to the containers before a crane of Namport was used to pull it from the water.
