Dippenaar trial to continue in October 2018

The murder trial of Jandré Dippenaar will only continue in October 2018. In the picture below Dippenaar is seen following his legal representative Advocate Louis Botes from the Swakopmund regional court yesterday.

The cross examination concluded yesterday of Mr. Paul Oosthuizen who witnessed the 29 December 2014 gruesome accident on the Swakopmund-Henties Bay road when Dippenaar’s FJ Cruiser slammed head-on into an oncoming Ford Ranger, killing six people in total (three people in his vehicle and three people in the other vehicle).
After the testimony the case was remanded to 8 October 2018. The state expert, Johan Joubert, who reconstructed the accident, is expected then to give his testimony. The trial will run until 12 October, after which the trial will again continue from 19 until 23 November 2018. Photo by Erwin Leuschner
