Disgust over rubbish left near Vierkantklip

A Swakopmund resident has voiced his concern after an utter mess was left behind on the beach at the so-called Badewanne close to Vierkantklip recently.

According to the resident, who regularly visits the beach area, the heap of trash was left there after a party on 16 July. The black bags and carton boxes are filled with empty alcohol bottles and are spilling over. When namib times visited the area yesterday the trash was still there. “I have been visiting the beach regularly for the past 30 years and the amount of waste you see now compared to back then is tremendous,” the resident said.
