DISTEL sponsored Golf Day

Last week we had the DISTEL sponsored day and a half-way house at number 6. The format was green keeper revenge and an individual Stableford.

After the dust had settled it was Emile Vilbert that came in first on 12 points, second was Hannes Crafford on 9 points. Estelle Bothma was third winning the count out from Amandio Sardinha and Johnny Borges on 4 points.
Herman Smidt won the lucky draw on a magnificent 21 points. Well played all.

This weekend is the DESERT IRON AND STEEL club champs which is a 36 hole event for all divisions and play only on Saturday. The list is on the board

Slope Rating / New HC system: A trained rater from SA is visiting Namibia at the moment to slope rate our courses to get on par with the new world wide HC system. Coastal courses incl.
Walvis will be done this Saturday and Sunday and soon thereafter you may see adjustments from your current handicap to a new handicap index. We will explain changes on how your HC system will be adjusted when swiping at different courses off different tees, in due course.
