“Don’t look back at the darkness of the past”

Namibia’s Head of State Dr. Hage Geingob’s message at the 2018 Heroes Day commemoration was for Namibia to look forward as a nation united. Forward on the path of peace, healing and national reconciliation. “Let us hold hands in the spirit of Unity, Liberty and Justice, for the sake of a better Namibia”, the President said in his keynote address at Nkurenkuru in Kavango-West where the official Heroes Day celebrations took place.
