Driver misjudges himself at Walvis Bay Waterfront

Drives vehicle off the breakwater – vehicle lands on yacht club’s beach

The driver of a Mercedes Benz misjudged himself with the access road at the Walvis Bay Waterfront on Wednesday night, resulting in him driving the vehicle over the break-water rocks crashing down on the beach at the Walvis Bay Yacht Club.

It was low-tide and several attempts followed to free the vehicle, which got stuck in the sand as well.
Damage to the vehicle was minimal. The man drove off without any emergency services attending to the incident
