Emily Braune most achieved rider of the Otjiwarongo show
Walvis Bay horse rider and student of the International School of Walvis Bay (ISWB), Emily Braune was awarded the annual floating trophy for 2019 for the most successful overall rider of the Otjiwarongo Show. This trophy was sponsored by the town of Otjiwarongo and dates back since 1964.
Emily competed with two horses, a stallion named “Baron” and a gelding named “Moritz” in two National Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping Tournaments in Swakopmund and Otjiwarongo respectively. She not only competed against other talented children, but all show Jumping classes including Junior and Adult riders from all over Namibia.
The results of the Swakopmund Tournament held on 7 – 9 June: Dressage placings, securing a place in the overall Derby, ending second.
Show Jumping Welcome Stakes: First with Moritz and Second with Baron.
Show jumping precision and Speed: First with Baron and Second with Moritz.
Eventing: First with Baron and Second with Moritz.
