ERNA selects regional team

The Erongo Regional Netball Asso­ciation (ERNA) selected a provisional Netball team to represent the ­Region at the Debmarine Senior Netball Championships scheduled for 26 August in Windhoek.

The provisional team of 17 players was selected from 40 netball players from all Netball clubs in the Erongo region. The final team of 12 players will be selected in due course.
The ­senior Erongo Netball squad:
The players selected are Saline Tjihuno, Gwyneth Kasuto, Penah Mushimba, Estie de Witt, Hendrina Louw, Ashiya Otta, Ronell Benson, Amalia Angula, Gerlance Nangombe, Geraldine Kasume, Vetarapi Ngapite, Susana Shi-pingana, Aili Alfeus, Veueza Tjazao and Meriam Mueze.
The past weekend Erongo Netball league games were played at the Tamariskia Netball courts in Swakopmund.
