Erongo’s mayors got the jab
The mayors of all of Erongo’s towns congregated at the Walvis Bay Covid-19 vaccination point of the Ministry of Health and Social Services recently to get their Covid-19 injections.
The mayors called upon all eligible Namibians to get vaccinated, as this is the only way to achieve herd immunity and to free Namibia from the grip of Covid-19.
Namibia will soon embark upon a full Covid-19 vaccination campaign again, as more vaccines arrive in the country. ∙250 000 doses of Sinopharm arrive tomorrow (Saturday).
∙A further 480 000 AstraZeneca arrives from Covax as from next week.
∙Government procured a further 333 333 doses of Johnson & Johnson.
∙A further 169 doses of Johnson & Johnson arrives from the United States of America via the Covax facility. This arrive between July and September.
