FCS Annual Spring Day Team Building Event

Financial Consulting Services (FCS), has a yearly team building event which takes place on Spring Day each year.
The event this year took place on the afternoon of 7 September, starting as a Charity drive during lunch hour in aid of the SPCA and the Cancer Association, after which a “Something Sweet – Mystery Box Challenge” Cook-off competition was held at the FCS offices. Collecting money was a huge challenge as it was a very windy day, but because it was done for a good cause, made it all worthwhile. The Cook-off competition was also a challenge, but with team work and team spirit it was a successful event full of laughter and fun. Representatives from both these organisations formed part of the event and were also the judges for the day. Excited FCS staff was divided into four teams.
Prizes up for grabs were:
– Team Charity (team representing their charity best and judged on collection strategy).
– Team Master Chefs (team with the best dish overall and judged on creativity, representation and initiative).
– The Dream Team (team with the best team work and team spirit throughout the day).
The teams for the day were: The Superheroes for Cancer, Team Pawsome, The Cancer Bandits and TEAM Puppy love.
Prizes were allocated to The Superheroes for Cancer (TEAM CHARITY), Team Puppy Love (The Dream Team) and Team PAWSOME (Team Master Chefs).
A total amount of N$5 750 was collected on our Charity Drive, and FCS pledged to double up the amount towards the Charity Organisations. Hand over to the SPCA was a total of N$4 700 and to the Cancer Association an amount of N$6 800 was handed over on Tuesday, 18 September. The day was a huge success and FCS thanks all who was part of the day.
