Fire at reeds cause of smoke plume

This smoke plume that formed on the eastern outskirts of Walvis Bay on Wednesday morning was caused by a fire in the reeds at the semi purified water ponds at the sewerage works. The municipal fire brigade monitored the fire and allowed it to die out by itself. The fire raged for the biggest part of Wednesday.
