First ever Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) – Hats & Roses ladies’ breakfast in Swakopmund

Swakopmund Hotel and Entertainment Centre was the perfect setting for this very successful breakfast event which was held by the Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN).

Tickets were sold out quickly and the tables and lighting looked fairy tale beautiful with soft pinks and whites whispering soft messages of hope to the women fighting cancer.

The aim of the Hats & Roses ladies’ breakfast is to share a message of hope. That although cancer is real, it can be beaten, and one can make a difference during the disease, starting by taking hands and standing together and bringing attitudes of positivity and hope back to those who have lost it in the midst of their battles.

The event saw several ladies shaving their heads in honour of their loved ones who are living with cancer.

A very talented Emily Dangwa sang a few songs in her breathtakingly beautiful opera voice. “The beautiful voices of Emily, Carin, Lize, Afra, and Christo made this an event to remember,” one of the ladies told namib times at the event. Ladies from the coast are looking forward to Hats & Roses 2019.
