Found dead – hanging from jetty’s rails

The body of Max Isaaks (34) was found hanging from the rails of the old Jetty near Mile 4 on Wednesday at around 13:00. Two women jogging made the grim discovery.
According to Nampol’s Acting spokesperson, Detective Daniel Gurirab, the joggers notified G4S Security Services who then alerted the Police. The body was taken to the Swakopmund State Hospital where, according to legal procedures, a doctor issued a death certificate.
No foul play is suspected and no suicide note was left. The deceased next of kin have been informed. It is alleged the deceased assaulted his ex-girlfriend with a hammer on Wednesday morning and then left the house. His his ex-girlfriend went to lay a charge at the police station.
