Gala Dinner marks beginning of Erongo Trade Expo

The 11th annual Namport Erongo Business and Tourism Expo will be taking on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the civic centre in Walvs Bay (25 to 28 October). As before the Expo presents visitors with new products and innovations in the market and is also the platform where suppliers, service providers and the business world link up. Do not forget the live entertainment, food and drinks for every taste and the stall vendors who sells everything from clothing to toys.
A gala dinner was hosted by Namport, the main sponsor of the Expo on Friday evening. The gala event is a tradition by now and encourages the development of trade and businesses at the coastal town, the Erongo region and beyond.
The gala evening is also used each year as an opportunity for businesses and captains of industry to pledge their assistance to the Expo. A combined amount of just short of N$13 000 was pledged towards the event by different businesses. The evening was well attended, and provided much entertainment with live performances by Salvador and Mengo.
The Namport Erongo Business and Tourism Expo 2017 is made possible by Namport as the main sponsor, Walvis Bay Municipality for making the facilities and premises available as well as Erongo Red for sponsoring electricity. The Expo is presented by Expo Studio Namibia, a local company specialising in exhibition services. The Ministry of Trade and Industry supports the participation of SME Entrepreneurs. The vision of the Expo is to market goods and services locally, nationally and internationally.
