German woman dies in car accident on Uis road

A Toyota Land Cruiser with registration no. N351KR overturned last week on the gravel road from Omaruru to Uis. A 79-year old German born resident who was residing in Uis died at the scene.
The incident took place around 16:30 last week Wednesday. It is further alleged that, about 7 km before Uis the 79-year old driver lost control over the vehicle and the vehicle overturned. She passed away at the scene. According to Erongo regional crime investigating coordinator Erastus Iikuyu who confirmed the incident, the next of kin have not been traced yet because they are in Germany. The body was taken to the Walvis Bay police mortuary for postmortem examination.
