Gold for Swakop dancers

Pole dancers Sonja Keil and Charly Ann Debortoli from the coastal town of Swakopmund won Gold in the Pole fit Art Professional category at the fourth Arnold Classic Africa Multisport Festival and Trade Expo hosted from 17-19 May in South Africa.

This year’s extravaganza includes 28 new Sporting Codes like, Pole Fitness, Tenpin Bowling, Swimming and Ring Tennis to mention just a few and was hosted in the Sandton Convention Centre, Crawford College, The Johannesburg Country Club and the Northcliff Bowl.
Sonja Keil said: “What an incredible experience, we competed at the Arnold Classics Africa 2019 in the Pole fit Art Professional category with lots of talented athletes and great competitors and after a phenomenal chorea we won Gold in our category and best Overall Duet”.
Keil added that they are internally grateful for the opportunity and for all the support they had from family and friends all over the country.
“I would like to thank Handri Loubser for her efforts to help polish the choreo, Tracey Simmonds for a very well organized event and of course Charly Ann Debortoli for being the best Pole Partner ever, I am grateful” Keil added.
