Hackers 2019 Squash Cup

The 2019 Hacker’s Squash Cup was held recently at the Municipal squash courts at Jan Wilken Sports Complex and at Buccaneers Squash Club in Walvis Bay.
The level of competition in the various levels of Squash was closed with a clear improvement of the standard all around. With only a Friday evening and Saturday available to play everyone played 5 games in the men’s round with the ladies each played 4 games.
This has made it a hard and tiring event with many aching bodies afterwards
The final round game and the prize giving ceremony were held at Buccaneers squash club where the prize giving ceremony followed.
This was also the handover of the event to Mr JC Platt as he will take over from Mr Doyle De Haas in hosting the Hackers Cup and Hackers doubles tournaments and leagues in the future.
The organisers would like to thank Spur Walvis Bay for dona-ting the prizes.
