Have-a-Heart in conjunction with the Mobile Animal Clinic – Another weekend of success

Mobile Animal Clinic in conjunction with the animal welfare group, Have-a-Heart, sterilised and treated 52 animals in Walvis Bay this past weekend. Even though the organization has a shortage of funds, the clinic could not let the opportunity pass because of the immense need of sterilisation of cats and dogs in the low-income community in Walvis Bay.

 The sterilisation of 52 cats and dogs mean that thousands of lives have been saved. One female cat and one female dog can have close to 20 kittens or puppies every year and these cats and dogs then have babies when they are less than six months old.

Dr Baines and his team also vaccinated cats and dogs for rabies and administered tick and flea treatments and helped one dog with removal of a broken tooth…
