Henties Bay Town Council takes office – former Walvis Bay’ite Lewis Vermaak elected as Mayor

Councillor Lewies Vermaak (RP) is the newly elected mayor of Henties Bay and the Deputy Mayor is Councillor Michael Skini (UDF).

Councillors Peet Swart (RP); Siegfried !!Garoëb (IPC) and Nimrod Hara-seb (PDM) are members of the Management Committee (Swart – Chairman of the Management Committee). Mr. Paulus Imbamba (SWAPO) was elected as additional member to the Management Committee.
*Mayor Vermaak is a former resident of Walvis Bay and attended the then Hoogenhout Laerskool, Walvisbaai Laerskool and concluded his school career at the Hoërskool Walvisbaai.
