I.S.W.B International Day celebrated on Saturday

The International School of Walvis Bay (I.S.W.B.) celebrated International Day on Saturday, one of the most important items on the school’s calendar each year.

A colourful street procession through Walvis Bay early on Saturday morning marked the beginning of the festivity that was presented at the Jan Wilken Stadium.
International Day teaches learners of the school from an early age to embrace cultural diversity and to learn to respect people from different cultures, their traditions and to experience different cultures through national emblems like flags, through traditional cuisine, traditional cloths and traditional customs. On the pictures- on our front page: some of the dozens of learners of the I.S.W.B. who were part of the float procession on Saturday.
