Dayo Antonio missed two gilt-edged chances for the Mambas in the opening moments of the half, while Charles Hambira was brilliantly thwarted by the Mozambique shot-stopper at the opposite end.

Mozambique pulled level eight minutes later by means of a curling free-kick from second-half substitute, Witiness Quembo, whose shot left the Namibian goalkeeper with no chance.
Namibia, though, would not be denied all three points as provider turned scorer in the 82nd minute. Iimbondi pounced on the loose ball before firing an unstoppable shot from range into the back of the as the Brave Warriors conti\nued their stranglehold over their Southern African rivals.
