Illegal rubbish dump

Walvis Bay residents are increasingly concerned over an illegal dumping area that is growing by the day on an open space between the Walvis Bay Golf Club and Meersig. Some residents use the area to dump garden refuse, but it is now a dumping place for household waste and building rubble.
“How can the Municipality allow this? How can the Golf club allow this?” One resident asked. “Who is responsible for the cleaning up of this rubbish?”
